As a lifelong rider, Scarlett remains a dedicated supporter of the horse industry. While living in Texas, she founded McAlister Harris Performance Horses, and with the support of her husband Chris and barn owner and friend Judy Newgren of Three Wishes Stables, Scarlett developed a team of exceptional riders and performance horses. As head trainer, instructor and coach of MHPH, Scarlett and her very talented group of horses and riders proudly attended many equestrian competitions and events throughout the southwest. 

Now in California, Scarlett has chosen to volunteer during her free time to various organizations, including 'Ride To Fly' in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, a therapeutic horseback riding program dedicated to teaching riding skills to the disabled .
